Experts from the Wood Composite Materials Professional Committee of the China Wood Industry Association stated. At the same time, as residents' demands for the quality of their living environment have increased, the demand for personalized outdoor spaces such as balcony economy and courtyard renovation has exploded, creating a vast market space for wood composite products.

Wood-plastic composite materials are a new type of environmentally friendly material made by using renewable or recycled plastics as the base, and combining them with plant fibers such as wood powder, bamboo powder, and rice husks. Experts point out: "Optimization of the formula, technological innovation, and domestication of equipment have jointly promoted the improvement of the performance of wood-plastic products and the reduction of costs, laying the foundation for the large-scale development of the industry."

From the initial outdoor flooring and railings, to the current wall panels, sunshades, and municipal facilities, the application scope of wood-plastic composite materials is expanding rapidly. Particularly noteworthy is that in the green packaging of the express delivery industry and the prefabricated building sector, wood-plastic materials demonstrate great potential.


"Recycled plastic-wood composite trays and packaging boxes, due to their recyclable and high-strength properties, are becoming an important choice for the green transformation of the express delivery industry," an industry executive explained. "In the field of prefabricated buildings, wood-plastic components have the advantages of factory prefabrication and convenient installation, perfectly meeting the demands of building industrialization."
